Established in 1920, FM GRU Tower Cranes started as a family company in the Northern Italy's biggest industrial location. Throughout the 1950s, when the farming economy was evolving into a manufacturing and industrial economy, the company was working in the metal structural sector and welded construction industries. FMgru was involved in constructing bridges for roads, pylons to convey electricity, different kinds of presses, forklifts, farming equipments and prefabrication molds.
The business started crane production in the year 1963. Eventually, the company pooled all of its resources into this one activity. The target of this streamlining was to reach the highest specialization level in the field of lifting.
Product Line
FMgru sells and manufactures 4 series of high quality tower cranes. These machines are engineered and designed for various applications and there are units available to cover all construction requirements.
Several units provide really flexible lifting options for companies which are constructing private houses and small buildings. Self-erecting cranes offer 22 to 40 meters jib range and have 1200 to 4000 kg capacity.
Topless tower cranes are amongst their other units. These cranes have upto 30 to 65 meters jib range and a running capacity of 1800 to 6000 kg. The fast erecting tower cranes are both really adaptable and user friendly. They are suitable for minimizing interferences when there are numerous cranes working in the same building site.
Saddle-jib tower cranes have a running capacity of 6000 kg to 12000 kg and a jib range of 58 to 80 meters. There are standard tower cranes that have no over sail restriction and are suitable for any building or construction project.
Fdr56Luffing-jib cranes by FMgru have a 12000 kg capacity and 50 meter long jibs. These cranes are particularly designed to work in restricted sites and on high-rise projects where buildings are situated in close proximity to each other.
