End Control Forklifts
The stand-up end control lift truck is a really flexible machinery and is well known in the material handling industry. These machines have great performance features which are somewhat like sit-down electric lift truck units.
Ideally, these forklift truck units are suited for warehousing operation atmospheres which have limited space. Their working aisle requirements are normally less than those required of a three-wheel electric forklift truck. These machines are an excellent option for applications which require regular off and on access, because their stand-up design is an excellent characteristic.
The reach truck is a loading apparatus utilized by various companies who maintain a storage facility involving the arrangement of finished products on pallets and supplies which are stored or stacked into tall shelving compartments. The reach truck provides easy and safe retrieval of the loaded pallets. It is also an excellent option for those who prefer to store pallets of products they do not need for immediate use in a way which is both efficient and safe.
All basic reach truck models would have an out-rigging mechanism secured to the front of the machinery. Telescoping forks are mounted to the out-rigging and can move up and down. The tines additionally include a hydraulic system that enables the driver to pick up the load and reposition it over the out-riggers. This particular design not only gives much more balance to the overall load, but makes it easier for the reach truck to move into narrow aisles between the storage shelves.
Once the designated shelf has been identified, the hydraulic tines swing into action and lower the pallet into the shelving unit, helping to slide the load into position. Usually, a reach truck will easily fit into an aisle which is less than 10 feet across with no trouble, so long as there are no other pallets protruding out from the shelving area.
