Use a Pneumatic Forklift
You can usually find pneumatic forklifts in warehouses and shipping operations. Also known as pump trucks or pallet trucks, they are utilized in order to transport supplies and products around on wooden pallets utilizing metal forks that are mounted on a wheeled counterweight. The counterweight has a pump which can raise the forks off the ground. A pallet truck is designed to be operated by one person.
To be able to avoid loosing control while lifting heavy loads, pallet trucks should always be operated with care. Machine should be inspected prior to operating. Clear the wheels area of any obstructions. Make certain that the handle smoothly turns. The pallet must be stacked carefully in order to guarantee that nothing will fall off during transportation.
To be able to lower the forks and release air in the pump, squeeze the lever situated on the inside of the metal loop on the end of the pallet truck's handle. The forks could then be pushed into the slots of the pallet. The forks must be at the center in order to guarantee equal distribution of the pallet's weight across them. Lift the forks from the ground by pumping the pneumatic lift's handle until the pallet has fully cleared the ground. Do not lift the pallet too high or the forklift could unbalance.
Pull on the handle and drag it behind you if you want to move the pallet. It is not safe to push the pallet in front of you because the momentum could cause it to go out of control. Slowly take turns and don't try to stop abruptly. Gradually stop, squeeze the lever, and the forks will lower to the ground. Finally, remove the forks from the pallet by pulling them out. Return the pallet truck to its permanent location.
